Spill Kit Vendor Management and Inspection Program
The objective of this program is to ensure your company’s Duty of Care is maintained and to promote compliance with Environmental Legislation. With regular servicing of your spill kits, we aim to reduce your environmental risk from any liquid spill incident by keeping your resources maintained in hazardous areas. Minimum interval of every 3 months. Section 4.8 of the Code of Practice.
Site Spill Kits are Mapped, GPS located. Maintained, Stocked, and Inspected for due diligence against the current WHS and Australian Standards.

The colour of the contents in each kit varies depending on its application. While there is no strict standard that governs the colour of absorbents and bins, there is some level of consistency across different types. However, the colour of an absorbent alone does not definitively indicate the type of liquid it is designed for.
General-purpose absorbents are usually grey, though Unichem absorbents can also be yellow. These absorbents are designed to soak up both water and solutions diluted in mixtures.
Oil-only absorbents are typically white. Unlike general-purpose absorbents, they repel water and are specifically designed to absorb hydrocarbons, such as oil and fuel spills.
Chemical absorbents are often yellow, green, or pink. These absorbents are designed to handle a variety of chemicals and can also absorb water.
