Floor sweeps are great for cleaning up spills of hydrocarbons, water-based chemicals, and solvents. They are not appropriate for alkalis, strong oxidizers, acids, and caustics. These absorbents are ideal for quickly containing and removing spills in the automotive and manufacturing industries.

Oil & Fuel absorbents will repel water and are suitable for hydrocarbons. UniChem absorbents will absorb water as well as oils, fuels, coolant, general workplace and agricultural chemicals, solvents, alkalis, strong oxidisers, acids and caustics.

SpilMax® Absorbent Floating Marine Booms will absorb a wide variety of plant and seed oils, hydrocarbons, petrochemicals and petroleum-based solvents. These large floating booms are hydrophobic and repel water. They are intended for use in waterways to contain and absorb spills.

The unique design of the Drain Warden operates in a similar fashion to a gross pollutant trap. Once installed it will prevent contaminants from entering the stormwater system while still allowing water to flow through. It captures coarse sediments and debris from runoff. When accompanied by the absorbent bilge boom, this device effectively removes hydrocarbons, oils and fuels as well.
